Infringement Ninja
We built a watch for copies of a brand, across the trade marks register, new domains, the app stores and the open web. It finds them, and it writes the takedown.

The problem
Copying got cheap. Finding the copies didn’t.
The tools that make it easy to build something also make it easy to copy it. A bestselling print, a landing page or an app can be rebadged and relisted in an afternoon.
Most small businesses find out from a confused customer. And searching for your own name turns up resellers, reviews and businesses that just happen to share a word, long before it turns up the copy.
We wanted one watch for the places copies show up first, that only speaks up when a match is worth acting on, and then tells you exactly what to send and where. Priced so a solo developer or a one-person shop can have it running from day one.
- 5
- places watched, from UK Trade Marks Data to new domains
- 2 months
- to oppose a UK trade mark, counted down on every alert
- Free
- to watch one brand. Paid plans from £29 a month
How it works
Hundreds of matches in. The handful worth a look out.
01
Watch
Add a brand or product name, your domains and your apps. Scans run daily on paid plans and weekly on Free, with the app stores and the open web monthly or on demand.
02
Shortlist
Every raw candidate is scored by our own matching code for spelling, sound and description, so only the close ones go any further.
03
Review in context
Each close match is read in context, which weeds out resellers, reviews and unrelated businesses, and given a risk score, the reasoning in plain words and a recommended action.
04
Act
One click drafts the right document for where the copy is: an Etsy IP report, an App Store or Google Play complaint, a domain abuse report, a cease and desist letter or TM7A opposition guidance.
What it watches
The places copies show up first.
Every alert explains the risk in plain words, shows the evidence and says what to do next.
New UK trade marks
Every new application in UK Trade Marks Data is compared with your marks by spelling, sound and goods. A conflict comes with the two-month opposition deadline counted down, and the grounds explained.

Lookalike domains
Every publicly trusted TLS certificate is logged, so a copycat domain often shows up within a day of going live, before it ranks anywhere. The homepage is read before it is judged, so a parked domain and a working clone are told apart.

App store copies
Lookalike apps on the App Store and Google Play are compared with your own app’s description and screenshots, so a rebadged clone is caught under a new name, and an app using yours to steal your searches is flagged.

Listing checks
Paste a link, or your listing’s title, tags and photo, before you publish. The report shows the words that could get it taken down, who owns them, and a safer title and tags. It works on someone else’s listing too.

One-click drafts
From “that looks like ours” to a takedown.
The right document for where the copy is, written from the alert and ready to review and send. Infringement Ninja is not a law firm, so the sending is yours.

The pricing
Free for one brand.
Plans are sized by the number of watches. Credits cover on-demand work: a listing check, a draft or a quick scan is one credit, a full scan of every source is three. Top-ups are 25 credits for £9, 100 for £29 or 300 for £79. Cancel any time.

The technology
Next.js on Google Cloud, Stripe, and a matching engine of our own.
- Next.js and Tailwind
- One Next.js 16 app (App Router) for the marketing site, ten guides, ten platform pages, the cost calculator and the signed-in product, styled with Tailwind 4.
- Google Cloud
- Hosted on Google Cloud and deployed from every push to main. Watches, alerts and the credit ledger live in a Google Cloud database, and sign-in is a passwordless email link. Due scans run every fifteen minutes, and a queue paces on-demand work, retries it, and refunds the credit if a job finally fails.
- Our own matching code
- A fast first pass that shortlists the names that look, sound or read like yours, so only the close matches go any further.
- The sources
- UK Trade Marks Data; certificate transparency logs for new domains; the App Store and Google Play; and the pages of listings and lookalike sites.
- Stripe
- Subscriptions sized by the number of watches, monthly credits, one-off credit packs, and the Customer Portal for switching plans and cancelling.
- Resend
- Alerts, billing emails and the branded sign-in email, sent from infringement.ninja’s own domain, with every send logged.
- Found by search and answer engines
- Structured data, breadcrumbs, a sitemap and llms.txt on every public page, with GA4 behind a consent banner.
