Most alarm apps are notifications in a costume. On a muted iPhone they stay quiet. Version 2 fixed that first, then made the alarm know what happened on Saturday.
The result, on your lock screen
Real system alarms. Mute switch on, still rings. After a win the alarm keeps your sound and reads the scoreline. After a loss it goes softer.

Matchday alarms fire a set time before kick-off, whatever day the TV schedule moves it to. Standard alarms for the rest of the week.

Pick a mate. They get the scoreline as their 06:30 alarm, with your voice note if you want to rub it in. No app? The link sends them to the store.

AlarmKit makes it a real system alarm, like the Clock app. It rings through the silent switch and Focus, and shows on the lock screen with stop and snooze.

AlarmManager with the alarm-clock API and audio on the alarm stream, which ignores the ringer. Full-screen wake on fire. Coming to Google Play.

Notification fallback
Local notifications respect the mute switch and cap sound at thirty seconds. We say so plainly in the app instead of pretending otherwise.

- Does it really ring when my iPhone is on silent?
- On iOS 26 and later, yes. It uses AlarmKit to set a real system alarm that rings through the silent switch and Focus. On older iOS versions it falls back to a notification alarm, which respects the mute switch, and the app tells you so.
- What is a rival wake-up?
- When your team beats a mate’s team you can send them the scoreline as their next morning alarm, with a fifteen-second voice note attached. They get a one-time link that plays your message and offers the alarm. Receiving is free. Sending is a one-off £1.99.
