The light is yours tonight.
From the lamp room you watch boats feel their way in across black water, down five lanes towards the rocks. Tap a lane while the beam is on it and the boat turns for the harbour. Too early or too late and it stalls and comes round again. Free with gentle ads, or £2.99 once to remove them.

Every other cosy game we have made is set somewhere warm and small: a café, a garden, a hen house, a duck pond. This one started with the opposite, and one person whose whole job is to be useful to strangers in it.
One thumb, one beam
Tap the lane the light is on while a boat is close. That is the whole control scheme, and the window is generous on purpose.
Fog needs the bell
Some boats cannot see the lamp at all, so you ring for them instead. In October something with no lights of its own comes in off the water: bell first, then the beam.
The logbook
Every boat home is written down, the one in twenty-five that arrives lantern-lit counted separately, alongside your best night, longest streak and clean nights.
Keep the lamp burning
A brighter lamp for a wider window, a faster sweep, a bigger bell, a foghorn that holds everything still, a second keeper, and a warm stove for the long ones.

- What kind of game is Lighthouse Nights?
- A cosy timing game for iPhone and iPad. You keep a lighthouse. Boats come in out of the dark down five lanes, and a tap while the beam is on a lane guides one home. Fog boats need the bell instead. A night lasts about a minute.
- Is it stressful?
- It is not meant to be. Mistime a tap and the boat does not sink, it stalls and comes round again. You can only really lose one by ignoring it, which is why it plays well at midnight.

- Yes. It is free with ads between nights, never during one. A single £2.99 purchase removes every ad forever and is shared with your family.
