Gentle hands. The right home.
Take over Peg Aldous's practice in Fellbeck. Owners tell you what's wrong in their own words; you treat the animal by hand, keep it calm, and send it home better. Out the back, the kennels hold strays waiting for the right family. Every illness is made up, nothing ever dies, and there's no energy wall.

Every animal goes home better.
We wanted a vet game that never makes an animal pay for a player's mistake. The care rules came first: nothing dies, no neglect timers, every illness made up. Then the hands-on part: the scale, the heartbeat, the claw clippers, and a rescue where finding the right family is the puzzle.

They tell you what’s wrong
"She's scratching my seats to bits getting in and out of the cab." Owners describe it in their own words; every case has exactly one right answer, and you can ask again once.

Gentle hands
Drag a treat slowly so a nervous terrier steps onto the scale. Tap along with the heartbeat. Clip each claw inside its window. Rush, and the animal winds up and every window narrows.

Find each one the right home
Strays settle in the kennels while families come looking. Read what each family needs and make the match; a wrong one is a trial weekend, never a sad ending.

A postcard from home
A real week after a rescue goes home, their family sends a postcard. Your score changes the donation to the rescue jar, never how the animal does.
How it is built
Our second big game, built natively for iPhone and iPad on the same engine as Fudge & Fizz, with a thirty-day story and a new chapter every couple of months.
Back to all work- Swift, SwiftUI and SpriteKit, native on iPhone and iPad
- Plays in portrait or landscape, and resizes with iPad windows
- Every case compiles to one treatment plan, and every family to one rescue, checked by a content validator
- A balance simulator that plays sixty days at three skill levels to tune fees, donations and the rescue jar
- Hallowe’en, Bonfire Night and Christmas events by date, every year
- Saves on the device and syncs through iCloud
- StoreKit 2 for Remove Ads, Biscuits and the optional Practice Plan subscription
Questions people ask
- What kind of game is Whiskers & Wellies?
- A cosy vet and animal rescue game for iPhone and iPad. Owners describe what is wrong, you examine and treat the animal by hand at the exam table, and out the back you match the rescues in the kennels to the right families.
- Do any animals die?
- No. No animal dies or is put to sleep, there are no neglect timers, and the needle is never shown. Every animal goes home better whatever your score; the score only changes how much goes in the rescue jar.
- Are the illnesses real?
- No. Every illness and treatment in the game is made up, on purpose. If your own animal is unwell, call your vet.
- Is Whiskers & Wellies free?
- Yes. There is a full-screen ad at most every third day, only at closing time. A single £4.99 purchase removes every ad for good. Biscuits buy decorations, never anything that changes an animal’s care or a score, and an optional Practice Plan delivers your supplies each morning and turns off every ad while it is active.
- Is it on Android?
- Not yet. Whiskers & Wellies is on iPhone and iPad first.
- When is it out?
- Whiskers & Wellies is heading to the App Store on 1 November 2026. Email [email protected] if you want to hear when it lands.
